The Innovv K6 is the first dashcam designed specifically for cycling. With this dashcam you capture everything that happens in front and behind you during all your bike rides. The cameras are easily mounted on your handlebars, seat post or carrier and with a USB cable you connect it to a battery pack (not included) or an existing USB port on your electric bicycle. Due to the so-called Loop recording, old images are automatically overwritten so that the camera keeps on filming.
This K6 bike version is distinguished from the motorcycle version by the included power cable. The motorcycle version comes with a 12V to 5V converter that connects to the bike's battery, but this bike version comes with a USB cable. The dashcam should therefore be connected to a Powerbank (not included) or USB port on your bike with the included USB cable.
The optional waterproof 5000mAh Nitecore battery pack (see accessories) allows up to about 6 hours of recording on a single charge.
This Innovv K6 films in razor-sharp 2K resolution on the front and FullHD on the back. Even in the dark, the Innovv K6 takes very sharp shots for use of the special Sony Starvis image sensors.
The Innovv K6 works just like an in-car dashcam: videos are stored on a Micro SD card (not included). When the SD card is full, the oldest images are automatically overwritten to create space for new recordings. The camera keeps recording so you don't have to worry about it.
The cameras are IP67 waterproof, which means they can withstand the most extreme weather conditions. So even in the rain you can just keep recording. The connection to the battery pack or USB port is not waterproof and can therefore be better stored or shielded.
The Innovv K6 is equipped with Wifi so you can easily view and share the images on your smartphone. Of course, you can also remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into your PC to view the images.
Because of the built-in G-sensor, the dashcam notices when you've had an unexpected collision. Upon impact, images are automatically stored securely so they are not lost. They can no longer be overwritten because of the automatic Loop recording.
The cameras on the Innovv K6 have a wide viewing angle that captures a large area around you. The front camera films at a 140-degree angle and the one on the back at 120 degrees.
The camera supports Micro SD cards up to 256gb, which is good for about 30 hours of FullHD recording. SD cards of 64gb, 128gb or 256gb must be formatted in the camera before use. This can easily be done via the App.
