This CPL filter from Garmin reduces annoying and harmful radiation in the videos of your dashcam. Sometimes it can happen that - especially in sunny conditions - reflections of the dashboard can be seen. By placing the CPL filter, these reflections are largely removed. The CPL filter can better be removed in dark conditions, so its use is not always desirable or necessary in the Netherlands.
